I was overwhelmed looking at all the teal beads and the awesome names with them. I'm sure this took much time and thought to create! Such an honor and pleasure to read about someone making such a difference. I have been active in educating and reaching out to women and their families since I was diagnosed. I know am a volunteer chapter president for the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition - CT Chapter and love the people I meet and get to spend time with. Thank you again for all you do and the special efforts you have made. I will be shopping! I’ve just celebrated 8 years “free” of Ovarian Cancer! I lost my Mama 3 years ago today, to Ovarian Cancer!! I miss her soooo much. She died 13 months to the day she found out she had it. She was never the same from the minute she found out. It was an awful disease, and I can't strongley relate it enough to friends and strangers. My sisters and I try our best to get the word out as much as possible, as that is one thing my Mom wanted was to let people know. You hear about every other kind of cancer but not about Ovarian, so we are starting to speak OUT!! Thanks again for all that you do!! Thank-you so much for giving Ovarian Cancer a voice!!
